All of our pools should reach you in clean and top class condition. But we must explain the difference between sterility and
disinfected.
All of our liners are able to be disinfected before and after use, but they are not sterile. Sterile means no life forms exist.
Sterility can only be produced with treatment, mormally with steam, but this is not possible with the pool liners and is not
necessary anyway.
No birth is sterile, even in the hospital, when blood is involved a sterile environment cannot co-exist. Therefore, there
is no point in sterilising any birth equipment. Disinfecting is a process cleaning which kills bacteria, viruses and spores.
The presence of bacteria is in the air that we breathe and on the towels we use to wash with, so it is something we live with.
Other companies supply water heaters, which allow the water to remain in the pool for up to a week, the water is regularly
reheated when needed. However hospitals strongly advise against the use of water heaters because the water may possibly contain
organisms, bacteria or fungal spores and this could cause them to multiply greatly.
